The 5328G answers a question most Calatravas never ask — what happens if you build an 8-day power reserve into a Pulsomax escapement and make the day and date jump instantaneously at midnight instead of creeping across hours. The textured blue dial darkens toward the rim, and the instantaneous displays read with a mechanical snap most calendar complications simply don't have, backed by a small seconds subdial and power reserve indicator so nothing about the movement's state is left to guess.
At 41mm and 10.52mm thick, the white gold case carries Patek's hobnail guilloché around the entire caseband circumference — a tactile detail that's become something of a signature across this generation's more technical Calatravas. Two straps ship with it: the navy blue fabric-pattern calfskin fitted from the factory, plus an additional grained taupe calfskin, both closing on Patek's newly patented triple-blade fold-over clasp in white gold.
The calibre 31-505 8J PS IRM CI J is manually wound and built specifically around the 8-day reserve — a Pulsomax escapement in Silinvar and Spiromax balance spring doing the regulation work across 256 parts and 28 jewels, finished throughout to the Patek Philippe Seal.
