Originally trained as an automotive and industrial designer, Katayama developed his watchmaking expertise independently, creating some of the most innovative and unconventional mechanical watches produced today.

Drawing inspiration from vintage automotive instrumentation, the No. 6 transforms timekeeping into a dynamic visual experience. Its rhodium-plated dial resembles a precision speedometer, with both hours and minutes displayed via a unique simultaneous double retrograde mechanism.
