The burgundy fumé dial marks a first for the Pioneer collection — a smoked gradient that deepens toward the edges and lets the transparent lacquered H. Moser logo sit nearly invisible against the surface, in keeping with the brand's minimalist instinct even on its boldest dial color to date. There's no date window, no clutter, nothing pulling focus from the fumé effect itself and the flying tourbillon visible at 6.
At 40mm and 12mm thick, the 5N red gold case carries genuine weight without feeling oversized, and the khaki rubber strap on a matching red gold pin buckle gives the piece an outdoor-ready edge that's unusual for a case this precious — 12 ATM water resistance backs that up rather than being just a spec on paper.
Inside is the calibre HMC 805, H. Moser's evolution of the HMC 804: an in-house automatic movement built around a one-minute flying tourbillon with a patented double hairspring, developed with sister company Precision Engineering AG to correct the shift in center of gravity as the hairsprings expand — reducing friction and improving isochronism beyond a standard single-hairspring tourbillon. The movement itself is left partially open, its skeletonized bridges and bi-directional winding system finished in anthracite grey with Moser's signature double stripes, running on a skeletonized 18k gold rotor for an unobstructed view. 72 hours of power reserve. A rare, brand-new 2025 example, full set — once this one is placed, it won't come around again.
