The Tradition line has always worked from an inverted premise — showing the movement's architecture on the dial side rather than hiding it — and the 7057 pushes that further with an off-centered dial hand-engraved on a rose engine, leaving the bridges, gear train, escapement, and the old-style pare-chute in hand-chamfered steel visible on both sides of the central plate. The black lacquer guilloché surface catches light in the engine-turned pattern while the power reserve indicator sits openly at 10 o'clock, a mechanical readout rather than a printed scale.
At 40mm and 11.7mm thick, the 18K rose gold case carries real presence on the wrist without tipping into bulk, and the non-screwed crown keeps the winding experience true to the Tradition line's classical intent. The alligator strap on a matching rose gold ardillon buckle closes out the palette in warm, unbroken tone.
The calibre 507 DR1 is hand-wound, built from 224 components across a 32.8mm movement just 5.2mm thick, running on a Breguet balance wheel with Breguet's own silicon balance spring for 50 hours of reserve. Finishing carries through with bevelled edges, hand-guilloché engine-turning on the dial, and mirror-polished surfaces typical of the Maison's own workshop standard.
