This is a genuinely rare find — one of only 50 pieces made of the Saxonia Thin in white gold, a limited run most collectors never see change hands. Lange stripped the watch down to what a mechanical timepiece fundamentally needs to do: tell hours and minutes, nothing more, and the case height of just 6.2mm reflects that restraint as much as the dial does. The grey dial is silver faced with black gold flux, a traditional Glashütte finishing technique that gives the surface a depth no printed dial can match.
At 40mm and 6.2mm tall, the white gold case is genuinely thin on the wrist, and this example carries zero signs of polishing — original edges, sharp lug lines, exactly as it left the manufacture.
